Epson is turning heads again as they get ready to release another innovative example of digital projectors for the education market. As one of the manufacturing partners for CCS, Epson continues to raise the bar for in-class projector systems for the K-12 market and beyond.
Epson is releasing the BrightLink 436Wi Interactive WXGA 3LCD Projector, which is to be the newest in its line of BrightLink projectors. The portable, interactive projector uses interactive pen touchscreen options with built-in annotation technology to project images, projects and more onto any existing whiteboard, wall, or other light-colored surface.
According to THE Journal, which highlights technology advances in education, the BrightLink 436WI Projector lets teachers and students use their PCs, tablets, document cameras and more to interact with the projected image. “Like other models in the BrightLink series, the 436Wi provides interactive capabilities (similar to an interactive whiteboard) without the need for a computer.”
This is an exciting feature for schools that may not have its teachers equipped with interactive devices. Teachers can connect a laptop or tablet to the BrightLink projector to help to create audio-visual solutions in the classroom. Teachers can share content from their iPads, tablets, smartphones, document cameras and more, then use the pens to annotate directly on the projected images.
Portability of the projector is also an important feature, allowing the BrightLink 436WI to be moved from room to room as necessary. There are no PC drivers to install, and setup is easy, with auto calibration. The 436WI comes complete with built-in 16 W speakers, microphone jack and HDMI connectivity. It’s another sparkling innovation from Epson that we at CCS Presentation Systems are proud to offer to our customers.
