Home Automation System

home automation

home automation

The home automation system is a technological solution that automates most of the electronic, electrical, and technological tasks in the home. Uses a combination of hardware and software technologies to control and manage home appliances. Homes with an automation system are also called a smart home.

A system allows you to control lighting, temperature, door locks, window curtains, appliances and more. This device has been in existence for several years. Many saw the early years of automation as a luxury, but as Smartphone and tablets became more common in every home, home automation became easier to use and significantly more affordable.

Let’s take a look at some of the benefits of having home automation installed in your home.

1. Save money
This benefit is huge when we talk about home automation. Having the ability to control the lights, whether or switched on/off at a specific time, will save the homeowner a lot. You can save money, thanks to home temperature, proper shade automation, and an automated thermostat. Plus, you can save fuel by not driving home if you forget to turn off the appliances or close the door.

2. Convenience
The ability to control everything with your fingertips is cool and convenient. Never leave your home without your wallet, keys, and Smartphone. Since our Smartphone is always with us, we can easily monitor our home and control everything with our fingers.

3. Security
The ability to close the door with your phone is one of the biggest advantages of home automation. This will give you peace of mind knowing that the door is closed and you are not guessing. The fact that you can receive alerts whenever someone enters your home allows you to control who enters your home at any time, especially when you are not there.

4. The ability to control small appliances and illuminate your fingertips, wherever you are, will increase the security of your home. You can ensure that devices are turned off as needed.

5. Save time.

Because we live in a very dynamic environment, we don’t even have time to worry about our home. With home automation, we can save time when we go home and make sure everything is OK, like kids closing the doors of school or turning on the lights when they get home.

Home Automation System Installation

The devices of the home automation system interconnect and communicate via wired or wireless LAN. The entire home automation system typically requires software for system administration, device driver installation, motion, and temperature sensors, and other components.

At a time when we are all more environmentally conscious, home automation is a good way to conserve our natural resources. Home automation products can reduce energy consumption and automatically turn off lights and gadgets when not in use. Don’t worry about your house until you’re home. With personal video cameras and an Internet connection, you can check the status of your home or your children anywhere in the world using a computer or phone with internet access.

Digital Signage Solution

digital signage 1

digital signage

A content management system is what creates Digital content. Its dashboard has built-in types of equipment that permit advertisers a combination of audio, video, images, and interactivity on their own. Digital signage media uses technologies such as liquid crystal displays, light emitting diodes, and projections to display content such as digital images, videos, media transfer, and information.

Digital signage automation is beginning to integrate into the real world. Some programs may automatically start the screens at preset times and turn them off again. It has combining communication protocols with cameras, sensors, and lights.

It is now possible to gather specific information about who actually intercepts and watches your screens or interact with them if you have a touch screen function, collecting valuable information not only about their identity, etc.), but also how much they spend time looking at the message and what emotions they may have felt using face recognition software.

There are one or more display screens, one or more media players, and a content management server as the components of a typical digital captioning installation. Sometimes we can also have two or more components present in one device, but there is usually just one display screen, media device, and content management server connected to the media device over the network. A content management server can support multiple media players, and a media player can support multiple screens.

Digital Signage Solution Advantages

Digital signage influences custom solutions for attracting, advertising, informing or entertaining your employees or customers. Signaling software eliminates speculation about digital displays, giving brands and marketers the ability to focus on delivering dynamic, immutable content.

Therefore, if your business is looking for a more attractive way to present information, announcements and marketing messages to its customers and staff, digital signage is a great solution. Whether it’s an employee room, a hotel lobby or the front of a store, digital signage can be an easy way to update from your own computer or device or cell phone.

No matter what type of organization, you want it your content to be smart and sophisticated, it needs to be beautiful, and you should be able to gather data to help you personalize your content offers in a way that is always engaging and inspiring to your audience. Automated digital signage applications are a way to achieve this with minimal resources.

Digital Signage Technical Data

Whether the data comes from within or outside your organization, it needs to be visualized, so people can understand the information quickly. The utilization of charts, diagrams, calendars, panels, and other graphic formats are often the best: they can at first glance convey a lot of information and give context to statistics. You can use these visualizations not only to inform people but also to encourage behavioral change.

An example of this is an energy panel that shows the current use of electricity in a building, with a stated purpose somewhere in the design. Organizations using them find that simply displaying user usage statistics turns off the light when they leave the room, greatly reducing overall costs. It’s a pretty powerful piece of visualized data, with real benefits and integrated return on investment, and it’s automated.

What Can You Control with Your Boardroom Automation System?

what can you control with your boardroom automation system

One of the simplest ways in which you can increase the bottom line of your business is by simply boosting the productivity of everyone in the place and making sure all the systems are running to the maximum potential of their capacity. Automation is one way in which you can transform the room into anything that you want it to be within the click of a button. When the automation system is installed properly, you will manage to switch off the lights for a power point presentation, prepare the conference room for a video conference within seconds and shut everything down for a one on one meeting. Here is the full range of things which you can achieve with a boardroom automation system.

The AV equipment

One of the most important applications used is the projector systems. It is possible to get a clearly labelled system on your touchpad which will be configured to make sure that within the touch of a button, you can turn on multiple displays including projectors and control how you want them used. This is far more efficient than spending those awkward first few minutes of an important presentation wondering which wire goes where. What is even better is the fact that you can actually control the system wirelessly from another part of the office.

The lighting and shading

When the lighting is right, the employees pay attention and brainstorming sessions go on successfully. On the other hand, when the lighting and shade is not right, people will doze off, or become cranky, especially in case of excessive brightness. When you have an automated system, you are able to dim the lights when there is a multimedia presentation and turn on the spotlights when you need to highlight a particular speaker during the meeting.

Temperature control

Another thing that comes with being crammed together for a meeting is that the air gets stuffy really fast. When this happens, everyone is left feeling warm and uncomfortable and people who cannot cope even doze off. When you have an automated system, you can simply turn on the AC when the air needs to be cooled down a little and then turn it back off when everyone has left. The automated system also controls the quality of indoor air, temperature, and humidity among other factors. A weather-controlled room boosts positive interactions and productivity.

Room management

Another benefit that you will get from the automated boardroom management system is that you can actually control the room itself. There are systems which are sophisticated enough to allow you to make schedules depending on when the room will be in use and when it will not. The automated systems can come with a card-readers which turn red when a room is scheduled to be used, or can even be turned off when the room is scheduled to be used so that access can be restricted.

These are some of the things that you can control with an automated boardroom system. However, before the room automation is completed, there are certain appliances which make the entire system run perfectly. Make sure that your room has the following components:

· A high-end sound system for audios

· Excellent light and shading control systems

· High-fidelity visual equipment for all video content that will be shared.

· Networking equipment

· A central control system

When you have these systems in place, you will just need to application which can synch all of them up, creating a system which is easy to manage from any part of the process, enhances your experience as an office manager and helps you present a better face of the company in boardroom meetings with external clients. The key is in selecting the automation system which has the newest and most innovative features and making sure that the stated components of the Boardroom automation can be synched. As soon as you can do that, your office will be amazing.

Why Technology Should Be Included In The Construction Plan

image2

Technology plays a critical role in the lives of hundreds of millions of Americans. It provides devices that help individuals work, play, and communicate almost constantly. These aspects of daily life have permeated deeply throughout the business world as well. One area where technology is gaining a greater consideration is in the construction business. Construction companies need to spend more time crafting the best possible plan to accommodate individuals wanting to work on their computers or look at their smartphones. Crafting such accommodations is key to making customers happy and ensuring repeat business.

The importance of technology to daily life

Technology is an important part of every interaction with a business. The primary reason that any individual enters a business is to acquire the good or service that the business is providing. However, the transaction is not immediate and simple. Individuals often have to wait in some way. They may need to watch a presentation or interact with a set of documents.

All of these steps are made easier due to the ubiquitous devices that many individuals have on them. A wait at a bank or restaurant could be rendered far more pleasurable by reading an article or watching a video on a phone. The same would be true for office spaces where both customers and employees use phones and computers relentlessly. Construction plans are designed to make the eventual design of a building as pleasurable, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing as possible.

Internet usage

Construction plans have to be designed to allow for the usage of various forms of technology. Perhaps the most common form of technology that individuals use on a daily basis is the computer. Individuals have to have easy access to both computers and the internet in most instances. Keeping internet access in mind when laying out rooms and floors is critical when constructing any sort of structure.

Construction companies should draw their plans while being mindful of where they place a room for a server. They should design seating spaces so that they can all make use of Wi-Fi. In addition, construction companies should stray away in their plans from materials that may restrict wireless signals. Some users of buildings have complained of a “Faraday cage” effect from structures that block the reception of wireless signals.

Ergonomics

Technology has to be used in a comfortable way on a daily basis. Proper construction plans should consider how the technology will be used by the individuals who enjoy a business or work in a company. They must be able to use their devices with minimal impact or distractions. For instance, construction plans need to ensure that windows are not placed in ways where sunlight can create glare on screens. They need to have tall, straight walls for projectors and for flat-screen televisions. These changes are made to enhance the quality of the time that both customers and employees spend in a business.

Conclusion

Construction companies need to catch up in their integration of technology. They need time to incorporate servers, projectors, and other pieces of equipment into their plans. Companies also need to better realize the ways in which people use space with the aid of technology. The construction company that masters the connections between individuals, computers and the rooms of a building will be one that is poised for success over the next decade.

Commercial Integrator: Best Government Project Award

Commercial Integrator

Recently CCS Presentation Systems Project was featured as Commercial Integrator’s “Best Government Project” of 2018. The creation of a new Civic Campus and Recreation Center in the Lenexa City Center required Audio-Visual integration and the choice was made to bring in CCS Presentation Systems expertise.

Most projects focus on different spaces like recreation centers, civic buildings, meeting spaces, outdoor plazas as separate projects or entities when it comes to AV integration. But the Lenexa City Center project opportunity required CCS Presentation Systems to combine all of those into one unified system.

The result is a aggregation of different spaces tied together with a combination of a Crestron and QSC package.

Government Project

Centralized management and remote support were the two most important features for the city, so CCS’ cloud-based Priority Support system was utilized for monitoring.

The campus is covered by 167 speakers powered by over 24000 Watts of power, allowing public safety monitoring to make voice announcements through a Q-SYS Audio System.

Over 67 connected displays offer the public information about upcoming events, classes, and promotions through a BrightSign Network interface.

Following the installation, CCS Presentation Systems trained each administration department and recreation staff on every space. For the first few City Council Meetings, CCS remained by to ensure ease-of-use.

The integrator now regularly receives referral calls from local municipalities that visit the Lenexa City Center and wish to recreate the experience.

Give your business the early AV advantage it deserves

AV Integration At The Beginning Stages

When building your business, there’s a lot of different factors you have to consider including av integration. After the funding, location, and direction have been figured out, that’s when the physical building of your business begins.

One of the biggest pieces that companies usually overlook is the first impression they give to potential clients. In the past, companies just had simple paintings or inspirational slogans in their respective reception areas. And while that approach has a traditional, vintage feel, that style really fails to showcase the modern technologies and accomplishments that a modern business has.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]With the new era of modern AV integration, companies now have the ability to wow potential clients or customers before they even have to speak with them. The use of digital signage and interactive kiosks help clients see the history or direction of a company, allowing them to reinforce their decision to pick your business before anyone else’s. Even something as simple as a crawl that shows the day’s weather or top stories sends the message that you’re plugged into the world around you and keeping pace with everything modern.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1548535144421{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]And thanks to modern wireless technologies, AV integration has never been easier. Hanging a lightweight flat screen TV at eye level with a thin-client computer that can be controlled by your company’s IT department can help peak your client’s interest. With motion sensor equipped wireless speakers, you can easily help your client find their way around your office as they enter.

As I mentioned before, modern technology makes AV integration simple. There are no cables to be run across the office, just the worry about where to place the outlets. The low level of input needed gives both the contractor (who is building the building) and the business (who is renting or owning the building) the freedom to make an aesthetically pleasing room without having to put too much thought into exactly where all of the digital parts and pieces will go.

Investing in an AV welcoming experience will help take your business to the next level.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
