CCS Presentation Systems’ CEO recently took part in helping to set up new projectors in schools at Scottsdale Unified School District. The schools are readying for the new classes of students starting on Monday August 12.
In the pics seen here, our CCS CEO John Godbout is helping install projectors alongside his tech crew. He remarked that he’s excited that these upgraded projectors will help teachers bring more to the lessons this school year.
With more of these digital projectors going into schools, integrated digital presentations will become much more the standard. The city of Scottsdale has benefited over the past seven years with increased technology in the schools.
According the Arizona Republic, the school district has enjoyed the benefits of a property tax capital override of about $10 million that helped pay for items like playground equipment, furniture, musical equipment and textbooks. And nearly half that amount ($4.7 million) was spent on technology needs like electronic whiteboards and integrated A/V systems, including projectors like those shown.
Across the US, school districts have been putting in as much technology into the schools as budgets allow. And the pressure on school districts to emphasize teacher tech learning is on the rise, too. Taken together, this brings K-12 technology to the forefront, opening up doors for CCS Presentation Systems to bring great audio-visual solutions to schools.
