CCS Presentation Systems sponsored the recent ‘Night of the Open Door’ signature technology event from Arizona State University as part of the Arizona Scitech Festival. Despite a full day of rain, wind and clouds, attendance for the event amounted to near the 2013 numbers, about 15,000 visitors in attendance, taking in the latest in CCS’ digital displays, Christie Digital Micro Tiles and doing hands-on science and engineering activities.
The evening event is a big open house from the University that showcases science, technology, math and engineering for Arizona families. For example, space enthusiasts were able to see a full-scale model of the Mars rover spacecraft, Curiosity. A NASA astronaut was on hand to talk about the Space Shuttle and his experiences within. There were artistic performances, hands-on activities and digital displays in full view of the visitors.
Attendees were able to play games, view live demonstrations, audio-visual solutions from CCS and presentations from a wide variety of science, tech and intelligence organizations.
