Video conferencing technology provider AVer will be showcasing some of its new products for the global education market at the BETT technology show in London Jan 22-25. The conference is the largest global exhibition for the education technology community, with over 35,000 attendees expected to attend.
AVer will highlight its BETT 2014 award finalist, TabCam, along with AVer’s TabSync charging cart and its ClassHD video conferencing solution. These education-market focused tools will be on display at the AVer booth.
AVer’s innovative TabCam is a lightweight, portable wireless camera with an app that allows educators to stream live video from textbooks, presentations, experiments and more directly to tablets (iOS and Android) used in a classroom. AVer’s TabCam has been chosen as a finalist in the BETT 2014 awards for the ICT tools for teaching and learning category.
Its use is helping to revolutionize the way teachers communicate information to students. Teachers can customize and record video with digital inks, narration and photos using Tabcam. These methods have shown to improve education clarity and keep students engaged. A teacher’s lessons can even be recorded on TabCam for later use or shared via social media. See a clip below of AVer’s TabCam.
AVer will also display TabSync, its secure charging cart for up to 32 iPads or other tablets. This useful mobile charging station allows school iPads and other tablets to be safely stored, charged and synchronized for a particular class. You can read more about AVer’s education tools on its website. You can also follow along with AVer at its Facebook page.
