For the Envy Nightclub project, CCS implemented a top-of-the-line sound system featured eight full range high performance loud speakers and an amplifier indoors as well as four full range outdoor speakers and another amplifier.

Project Description

NORTHERN EDGE NAVAJO CASINO

Upper Fruitland, NM

NORTHERN EDGE NAVAJO CASINO

The goal of the project was to create a state-of-the-art video and audio distribution system for use throughout the property, routing multiple sources to specific displays/zones.

Project Description

CCS deployed cutting-edge technology found in Magenta Research products and built distribution around a Mondo switch. This allowed them to distribute sources such as satellite TV, keno, digital signage, and promotions to various areas throughout the property. Much time was spent understanding the traffic flow and visibility of each display to the clientele. Areas of the property were also broken into zones for audio distribution and speakers were tapped at different levels and set at different volumes to accommodate the volume of the patrons mixed with the gaming equipment on the floor. Audio-visual equipment was also installed in conference rooms in the back-of-house to allow staff members to more readily present, collaborate, and discuss information.

CASINO ARIZONA

CASINO ARIZONA

CCS installed over 140 55” NEC video wall monitors in a variety of configurations. The majority are 2 x 2 systems in Willows Bar, Pima Bar and Grill, and in the Bingo Hall.

In addition, CCS installed two 2 x 8 configurations in the Bingo Hall and an overhead scoreboard flanked by 2 x 2s hanging from the ceiling.

The CCS Solution

The system, developed with ClearWing Productions and Aspen Technologies, consists of four major components:

  1. Video distribution—Magenta Mondo switch and 16 2 x 2 video walls using NEC X551 UN displays for digital signage, live broadcast content or real-time statistics
  2. Audio— A Peavey Nion DSP, 36 JBL CT47 high ceiling speakers, eight Community 12 inch subwoofers, 16 AKG wireless microphones and AtteroTech Cobranet modules
  3. Control — AMX DVX3155, Metreau Keypads and two 7 inch wall-mounted touch panels
  4. Lighting/Special Effects— black lights, motion and effects lights, GOBO lights and special effects paint techniques revealed only during late-night bingo sessions transform the space into a high-tech bingo club complete with a DJ station.

Project Goal

This award-winning installation needed to incorporate the latest tech tools to make bingo scoring more efficient given the large number of players the room attracts at any given time. The client also felt that it should rival Las Vegas style bingo experiences and become the go to bingo destination for the Phoenix and Scottsdale area.
