The W Hotel Scottsdale

Scottsdale, Arizona

The W Hotel Scottsdale

CCS exclusively designed and installed audio systems in all of the public areas of the hotel, including the port cochere, lobby, hallways and elevators, two bars, four meeting rooms, and the pool deck. Special underwater loudspeakers were built into the pool structure itself, so guests don’t have to swim in silence. Multiple speakers inlayed flush with the outdoor lamps provide music for those away from the bar. The men’s washroom offers a bit of whimsy with motion tripped in-wall screens providing customized video display sequences of women gazing upon the users. Inside the lobby, lounge, and bar areas also include unobtrusive speaker systems.

Project Goal

Keeping in line with The W hotel’s hip aesthetics, design and provide custom audio systems throughout the property.

NORTHERN EDGE NAVAJO CASINO

Upper Fruitland, NM

NORTHERN EDGE NAVAJO CASINO

The goal of the project was to create a state of the art video and audio distribution system for use throughout the property, routing multiple sources to specific displays/zones.

CCS utilized its experience with cutting edge technology found in Magenta Research products and built distribution around a Mondo switch. This allowed them to distribute sources such as satellite TV, keno, digital signage and promotions to various areas throughout the property. Much time was spent understanding the traffic flow and visibility of each display to the clientele.

Areas of the property were also broken into zones for audio distribution and speakers were tapped at different levels and set at different volumes to accommodate the volume of the patrons mixed with the gaming equipment on the floor. Audio visual equipment was also installed in conference rooms located in the back-of-house to allow staff members to more readily present, collaborate and discuss information.

ROUTE 66 CASINO HOTEL

The goal of the project was to boost the casino’s high definition audio visual system and set them apart from every other casino in New Mexico. Key focus areas were the Legends Theatre and the Envy Nightlife space, all housed within the Route 66 Casino.

CCS gave the Legends Theatre at Route 66 a massive overhaul of its video projection system—installing a 30-foot wide screen and three high definition projection systems, which were upgraded to 1080 source and switching. For the Envy Nightclub project, CCS implemented a top-of-the-line sound system featured eight full range high performance loud speakers and an amplifier indoors as well as four full range outdoor speakers and another amplifier.

Project Description

Additionally, CCS incorporated a video wall and installed video input control for visiting DJs to utilize high definition digital video. A TPS touch panel was integrated to operate sound and video through a Crestron controller.
