Bellevue University
Bellevue, NE
Bellevue University came to CCS Midwest with a vision to turn a furniture storage closet into a state-of-the-art cybersecurity lab for Bellevue University’s Information Systems programs.
Project Description
The system was to consist of rack-mounted computers, Shure MXA910 microphones, QSC digital signal processors, QSC PTZ cameras, a video wall processor, Mersive Solstice pods, and Apple TV feeds.
The main features of the audio-visual system were the two impressive Planar Clarity Matrix G3 video walls. The original design called for a single 6 x 3 videowall, but the design team quickly recognized that due to low-hanging HVAC systems, the visibility of the display would be obstructed. To accommodate, the main video wall was changed to a 6 x 2 and the additional displays were shifted into a breakout area and reworked into a separate 3 x 2 video wall.
