Attention Arizona Teachers, School Administrators and other K12 professionals: CCS Presentation Systems is hosting Arizona-based elementary educators to collaborate and create SMART content in a two-day content creation event “SMART™ Elementary Content Creation Summit”.
The SMART Elementary Content Creation Summit will be held on June 18-19, 2013 in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s a jam-packed, 2-day content creation event where nearly 100 pre-K–5 grade educators will use SMART’s powerful interactive Notebook software to accelerate learning for today’s students.
The Summit is by invitation only. All educators must complete an application and submit a video file showing their use of SMART Notebook in the classroom with their students. Creativity definitely counts!
CCS Presentation Systems and SMART are looking for grant applicants that:
- Are Certified, current full-time or part-time elementary pre-K – 5th grade teachers, including SEI and Special Education.
- Have at least one-year of SMART Board and/or SMART Notebook experience and have attended training either online, at your school site, or any other form
- Want to increase your skills in creating dynamic SMART Notebook lesson activities
Elementary school educators will discover at the Summit how to create professional, interactive, and sharable lesson activities for the SMART Notebook software. Participants will be grouped with peers of the same grade-level/content area to promote collaboration to its fullest levels of excellence.
“Technology use is becoming such a key part of today’s educational makeup,” said CCS Arizona Marketing Manager, Julie Solomon. “CCS Presentations Systems is looking to bring to elementary educators with a passion for technology a unique professional development opportunity in the area of SMART product integration.”
At this event, CCS’s Certified Training Specialists, and a SMART Educational expert will work with attendees on designing interactive SMART lessons. Participants at this event will work collaboratively to create standard-based lessons specific to the SMART technologies they currently use in their classrooms.
