Great news for users of bright LCD displays – CCS Presentation Systems manufacturing partner NEC Display Solutions of America is taking its video wall products to the next level. The provider of commercial LCD displays and projector solutions for our clients announced that it will start selling in March its newest generation of video wall products in a variety of digital signage, corporate and broadcast video wall applications.

These large screen LCD displays (55 in./46 in.) are capable of delivering HD resolutions across the full span of displays. They will showcase brighter image levels, lower power consumption and mercury-free components.

The new X model series of LCD displays is designed for faster installation, which reduced costs and improves overall customer experiences. NEC’s Auto TileMatrix feature allows users to program the video wall with the first display and then automatically set up the desired content on the remaining displays. The whole video wall is then set up easily with the press of a few buttons.

NEC is also introducing with the X series the new Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) from Intel, which is an industry-wide standardization in option slots to simplify digital signage. The OPS option slot allows for easier installation, use and maintenance of digital signage. An accessory slot is now included on new X Series models, as well.
