Basketball Training & Performance Center CCS Southeast completed a state-of-the-art audio installation for Jacksonville University Basketball Training and Performance Center. 

Project Description

CCS installed two high-energy sound systems driven by Denon audio players with JBL speakers and Lab Gruppen amplifiers. The main practice floor has six JBL Control 312CS Subwoofers and 12 JBL Contol 67HC/T Pendant speakers hidden in the rafters. This combination helps create a high-energy environment to help drive performance while reducing background distractions. 

CCS also installed a total of twelve LG displays, ranging from 55” to 86” throughout the facility that are compatible with the LG’s Supersign CMS digital signage system. This would allow signage content throughout the campus when the displays aren’t being used to analyze game and practice film

Project Description

This project’s stadium seating area features a 4×4 LG video wall with displays on each side and behind to support video conferencing views. The Shure audio system contains four wireless lavalier microphones and eight wireless hand-held microphones and includes a total of twelve 8” ceiling speakers.

The system can show up to 4 sources simultaneously across the video wall and displays. Inputs include a dedicated PC for presentation, two Novo Pro Wireless Collaboration Devices, and a Polycom video conferencing codec with multiple PTZ camera inputs.

A wall-mounted touch panel adjacent to the video wall offers mobile Extron control via the control application.

This six-story 110,000 square-foot corporate headquarters in Southfield, Michigan features over 100 meeting and workspaces all Crestron-controlled. The CCS team performed an in-depth needs analysis focused on the user experience, and architectural and workflow constraints to develop a comprehensive collaboration strategy.

  • With a main focus on security, the SOC features a 4 x 2 Planar LCD video wall driven by the building’s over 100 cameras. The US security team has a 24/7 direct connection from their system to their partners around the globe.
  • The Creston NVX video distribution system allows mass notification and messaging capabilities to all employees simultaneously.
  • The building features 70+ large format displays, including a Viewsonic 96” interactive in the Training/War Room.
  • Cambridge Sound Management sound masking was implemented throughout.

Facilitating real-time coordination, the US security team maintains a 24/7 direct connection with their global partners. Leveraging the Creston NVX video distribution system, the SOC enables mass notification and messaging to all employees simultaneously. Moreover, the building boasts over 70 large-format displays, with highlights including a Viewsonic 96” interactive display in the Training/War Room. To ensure privacy and optimize acoustic environments, Cambridge Sound Management sound masking has been implemented throughout the facility.

Each room has its own PTZ camera for use during video conferencing, at least one ceiling array microphone allowing for the entire audience to participate in conference calls, a Crestron control system along with Crestron video distribution is the backbone to the system. Portable lecterns can be brought into each room for additional functionality of the space.

Colorbeam Lighting presented Eat The Frog’s (ETF) high-end training
studios with a reliable, color changing and state-of-the art lighting
solution that fully integrates with the studio’s AV system.

At 21 ETF locations across the country, CCS installed twenty-four 9W RGB luminaires with associated power supplies and DMX decoders. The solution is controlled by Colorbeam’s patented DMX GATEway processor allowing Colorbeam Lighting’s RGB color changing recessed fixtures the ability to sync workouts with the lighting installations in Eat The Frog’s fitness rooms.

The Harris County, Texas Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is nationally known for its strong connectivity and advanced technology. The facility partnered with CCS upgraded its audio and video systems, bringing in a fresh wave of modernization.
The Harris County, Texas Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is among the nation’s most connected and technologically sophisticated. Recently the facility’s audio and video systems were given an update. The new system integrated a complex matrix of sources, multiple video walls and flat panel displays, distribution and control. The facility’s north and south walls are outfitted with large 2×8 video walls comprised of 55-inch LG VH Series .88mm combined bezel displays. Each video wall is flanked with smaller 2×2 arrays of LG 55- inch displays. Additional screens are located at individual workstations, a briefing room, a conference room, and a couple of private offices. This is a true AP over IP solution with 62 encoders and 68 decoders provide maximum flexibility in routing multiple sources and destinations. A TVOne CorioMaster handles scaling, mirroring, and windowing, with multiple Cisco network switches routing communication from a Crestron control processor

Complementing these are smaller 2×2 arrays of LG 55-inch displays flanking each video wall. Additional screens are strategically positioned at individual workstations, a briefing room, conference room, and a couple of private offices. This cutting-edge setup utilizes a true AP over IP solution, boasting 62 encoders and 68 decoders, providing unparalleled flexibility in routing multiple sources and destinations. To manage scaling, mirroring, and windowing, a TVOne CorioMaster takes charge, while multiple Cisco network switches efficiently route communication from a Crestron control processor, ensuring seamless operation.

The client’s vision was to establish a state-of-the-art dvLED Video Display within the plaza, seamlessly blending artistry, entertainment, and communication into one dynamic focal point.

to create a cutting-edge dvLED Video Display in the plaza that served
as a piece of art, a source for entertainment, and an avenue of
communication. To accomplish this goal, CCS worked with Neoti and
the designated architect to manufacture custom cabinets resulting in a
one-of-a-kind display that serves as a focal point in the new plaza.
