Samsung Upgrades Smart Signage Platform with D Series Advancement

 In Mid Atlantic States

At the recent Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, Samsung introduced its new D Series commercial displays as part of its one-year anniversary of its Smart Signage Platform.

The new D series offers customers an enhanced entire system-on-a-chip that provides support for advanced applications like touch and video wall configurations. The best part is these configurations can all be used without the need for an external media player or PC. This next generation Smart Signage Platform also has built-in WiFi as a standard feature, and adds an SD slot for flexible memory expansion.

Here’s a practical hands-on look at how the system can work via an online portal, as demonstrated at the Digital Signage Expo show.

For owners of digital signage networks, the savings utilized by eliminating the need for external media players can be significant. Samsung notes that small- and medium-sized digital signage networks using the Smart Signage Platform over three years can reduce its cost of ownership by up to 40 percent during that period.Samsung_series_D-CCSProjects
